Depends on whether you have SA633 phone preparation/SA644 hands-free in you car originally. It is still possible if you don't though.

You will definitely need the blue HSD Cable which goes from the base plate to the Combox; Selective AUX/USB socket which needs wiring from the base plate to the 6-pin plug of the USB/AUX connector as well as the existing AUX wire going to the Combox. You will also need the trim piece which holds the baseplate in place in the centre console (part number can be provided for e9x).

Hi, firstly thanks to Cage911 for the prompt delivery and 'as new' baseplate.

Unfortunately for me, I have been told it is 'impossible' with my car options to just have 6NR which is what I wanted without buying BMW Apps (6NF) for my car which I don't want - so I'm backing out. Should have waited for responses to my questions before buying! Guess the clue was in the post title..

So... not only do I have the Baseplate (Part number: 8410 9189 619) above from Cage911 which is 'as new' (worth £140 and a 30 day wait from Germany according to the MK BMW dealer), but I have purchased the cable (part 61119202749) from BMW.

This is the blue cable that connects from the above baseplate to the combox. So if you have the right options on your car or want Apps, this is all you need to do it plus the code. My local dealer in Milton Keynes said they'd charge £40 + VAT for the coding, plus the cost of the FSC for BMW Apps (around £250 I believe, didn't get that far...)

£100 all in including recorded delivery for new parts, baseplate not even out the package.. PM me if you're interested.
