Incentives for 2014 X5's

Now that the hold has been lifted for the f15's (well not for my 50i) has anyone heard any additional information about incentives for the F15? I looked on USAA's site, they aren't showing anything new yet. I was just wondering if any industry sources new of incentives getting ready to roll out.

Great question and hope we get some answers soon - USAA does have incentives for the brand new 4 series so i'm expecting the F15 X5 to follow suit. Curious if we purchase our vehicle and then the incentives are released a couple weeks later, how we could proceed.

As of right now i'm only factoring BMW loyalty as i'm waiting for my X5 50i to be released for PCD from Spartansburg, SC.

AFAIK, there is just the $1,000 Loyalty Cash for October. I guess we will have to wait and see what November will bring.

There are incentives for various 2014 models and are upto $2000.
They will expire on oct 31. So, I hope the new set will include F15.

How does loyalty cash work? I own another BMW outright that I'm not trading in on the x5. Does that count?

The loyalty cash comes straight off the price of the car, just like an extra discount, except that it comes from BMW, not the dealer (so don't let the dealer tell you they gave you anything, it doesn't count against them). Yes, any BMW you currently own or lease counts.

Or if you have sold your BMW in last 12 months, you will still be eligible.

Nope. Tried several ways but the verdict is NO.
Reason behind is that most F15 are delivered starting from Nov and hence BMW wanted my excluded F15.

I am hoping that they will come up with something in first or second week of Nov and run through it until Thanks Giving.

So, I will not do my paper work until second week of Nov.

I was told the same thing. My CA is trying to get it extended, but I doubt that will work.

Hopefully that will be the case. I'm putting my order in tomorrow, so presumably would get the car around the end of November or into December (or worse, don't know what backlog there is with allocations). I'm hoping to catch a holiday credit or something, but could easily see them excluding the X5 since it's new.

Anyone know about the BMWCCA rebate? I heard it wasn't applicable to the new X5 but when I look on their website just says $1000 for X5, doesn't say it has exclusions.

I remember reading somewhere that it was for e70 only and not f15. again just like the usaa incentives - possibly haven't updated with release of new models yet.

USAA has incentives for the 4 series - is there a BMWCCA rebate for the 4 series available already?

I guess i'm ok with waiting for November release if I get an extra $2k+ in savings Although - from a quick glance, seems like you might have to go through some hoops for the CCA discount

I looked at the BMWCCA form and it didn't say anything about including or excluding the 2014 X5. It did list a rebate for the 4 series which I believe are only 2014 models. I think I'll just submit the form and hope for the best.

Yeah that's what I saw. I'm not eligible until February, so barring a really long delay for my order, I'm not going to wait that long just to save $1000. Would be nice since I'm losing the drive event though. Oh well, at least I got a free travel mug

I submitted my request for the BMWCCA rebate after returning from my PCD. The $1,000 check arrived last week.

My CA indicated that the Loyalty cash is contingent upon signing up for the 2.9% finance deal even though I do not need the financing. He indicated that I can sign up for the deal with the minimum (7.5K) and pay off the total in about 6 months and keep the 1K loyalty credit. Do others have similar experience. Is there any way to get the loyalty credit without signing up for the financing?

Unfortunately your CA is correct. The program isn't called simply "Loyalty Cash" -- it's called "Lease/finance Loyalty Cash." You have to either lease or finance the car though BMW finance to get it, and the "cash" gets paid directly to the dealer rather than you.

The only potential wiggle room here is how much of the purchase price they require you to finance in order to get the loyalty cash. Your CA is saying it's 7.5K. Not questioning his/her integrity, but might be worth a call from you directly to BMW finance to explore this further.

Meanwhile, I'm attaching below the legalese from BMW USA's web site about the offer.

Lease/Finance Loyalty Cash of $500 is available on the 1 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, M3, X1 and X3, $1,000 on the Z4, 5 Series, M5, X5, X5 M, X6 and X6 M and $1,500 on the 6, M6 and 7 Series for all new model year 2013 and 2014 BMW models. The offer is valid through December 31, 2013 for vehicles purchased, ordered, or leased/financed through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. Loyalty cash offer is available through authorized BMW Centers to qualified current BMW car/SAV owners and former BMW car/SAV owners of any Model Year vehicle who have disposed of their vehicle within the past 12 months. Offer cannot be applied retroactively. Lease/Finance loyalty cash must be applied to the lease/finance purchase and the BMW vehicle must be financed/leased through BMW Financial Services NA, LLC. The offer will be paid directly to the BMW center to offset the customer's closing costs. Lease/Finance Loyalty Cash cannot be applied toward tax, title or destination charges. Consult with your BMW Client Advisor for full program details, and to learn which vehicles and leasing or finance programs qualify. Lease/finance offers are subject to credit approval. Offer subject to change.

The "special offers" section in bmwusa.com now has the X5 lease specials with an end date of 1/2/2014 instead of 12/2/2013. Looks like they extended the November program with no changes, still no happier new year credit for us. Not sure if that could still change tomorrow.

Just checked the Domestic Military program (USAA) - no rebate for the X5.

Maybe in January.
