Best Place for LCI Tail Lights?
Hey Guys,
I'm looking for the LCI Tail Lights and wanted to see if anyone has purchased them from ECS Tuning? Looks like they would come with everything I would need to retrofit onto a 2007 E92 and by far the best price. Not available until December but I wouldn't mind waiting in order to pay $200+ less than other places I've seen. http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335....0L/ES2219779/

Yup, if you want the regular U.S. style LCI tails go with Tischer (forum vendor) - the set is $130 cheaper & includes all you need:
http://www.getbmwparts.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462 -OR- I have also got good pricing thru BMWpartspros.com (also forum vendor) Definitely no need to get the optional FRM3 module - simply code out the Cold/Warm Bulb checks & Error Reporting for all rear lights & you'll have no flickering @ startup or hyperflashing of the turn signals...

Thanks for the info and links!
I'm still stuck on the amber turn light so I want to still get the Euro version. After some more research it still appears that ECS has the best price by far atm.

Are Euro tails plug & play? I'm thinking of switching mine to amber, so all turn signals wil have the same color.

I'm familiar with Schmeidmann but am not sure their kit is that cheap. Is $420/pr just for the outer taillights?
This is the cheapest OEM set they sell, $511.24 including the harness: http://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-e9...roduct=FLB92NU I can't be sure that's EU or US either. |

I have an E93 and bought LCI lights from ECS Tuning. They are plug and play and do need coding to get rid of the flickering. Very satisfied with the lights. Easy to install.

That's good to hear! Placed my order for them last month and they should be available early December.

bump.
Great thread. Is there any follow up on those Schmeidmann tails? Did they arrive as US or Euro? It appears ECS tuning is still the best opportunity for Euro LCI tails with a lengthy wait, and that getbmw is the best opportunity for US LCI tails. |

I ordered the Euro LCI Tails from ECS shortly after I originally started the thread and they are scheduled to be delivered this Thursday! Will update when I receive and install them.
