CF Headlight Eyelid?

Don't get me wrong. I absolutely hate the looks of cars having 'eyelids' (painted or CF) but the F30 headlight seems to fit these nicely, (the design of the headlight seems like it mean't to have 'eyelids'(... thoughts?

I only found a couple photos online with it on.

Terrible. The only cars CLOSE to pulling it off would be black or mineral gray.

If you don't like the CF eyelid you can go for that mod!

Hi guys, if i were to add this mod on my car would the 3m tape be enough even during high speed driving? there is another mod i found on ebay please let me know what do you think.

Those look terrible. Why would you want to stick those to the headlights?

Looks ridiculous. You're killing a signature design element of the new 3-Series.

There's already a lot going on with the headlights, sticking something over them just looks too busy. I think some eyebrows looked ok on the E36 but the lights on those cars were very plain looking so it kept it subtle

The 3M tape will do fine on the front of the car at 155mph. Trust me I have experience... that said it's not a nice looking mod in CF. Painted to match is IMO the only good way to go on this mod, and that still iffy. Best Mod i've seen was done by ONEighty with his retrofitted LED's and Xenon's.
