Please help

Just got a new 335i and three days later some one scratched it. I took it to the dealer and they were able to buff the scratch out, but now there is a hologram like defect where the scratch used to be. Is there a way to fix it? I have no experience in buffing a car and using power tools to do that. Is there a simple way I can fix the problem myself?

not too hard to fix. A detailing shop can run over it with their buffer and fix it up. Or get the dealer to smooth it out

If you know anyone with a DA machine polisher it would take them two minutes to sort this. Tape the door off and do do the whole door, job done.

Thank you for your responses. It is great to know that it can be fixed. I am little afraid that they may make things worse. Can some one suggest a good place to get it fixed in Omaha, Nebraska?
