How many DVDs have you tried? Some DVDs have resume issues with some players. I just tried an older episode of King of The Hill, and it resumed play after turning the car off.

I realize this is not an answer to your direct question; however I drive a great deal and audio books on my iPhone has worked great for me for several years.

I have had the same issue as yourself and I'd say the previous answer is correct with respect to DVD's.

I have tried almost all of the DVDs but none of them can resume the chapter.

Unfortunately all our DVDs are old since we stopped buying them in 2007. I just tried North Country, resumed fine. Now this is in the main CD/DVD player and not the CD/DVD changer in the glove compartment. Sorry, but I can't figure out why its not working.

Just tried another DVD and it resumed after turning the car off for a couple of hours (Curious George), we have a 2 year old, don't judge.

sr2003, after watching a portion of the DVD, do you go to the DVD menu and hit stop? After watching I simply turn off the car or select another source (FM, sat radio etc.). I would suggest turning the car off and not hitting stop if you are.
