I don't think they are particularly rare. My hunch is that the people who opt for the luxury or modern lines, likely are not the type to modify their cars or belong to a forum.

Hate to generalize, but I offer that for what it is worth.

That guy seems to mention fineline but from the photos it looks like regular anthracite, dont you think?

Yup, that's the anthracite with the satin chrome trim. I have it on my Luxury line F30. To me, it's the "classiest" of interior trims, the understated hue of the "wood" hue is contemporary, yet offers some warmth against my black interior. It hides smudges too. Good luck in your search!

Hmm if you search (on google images) for "anthracite trim f30" and "fineline trim f30" you get two completely different trims. The one that shows up for fineline looks really classy.

But the ebay guy seems to have posted anthracite trim but he's calling it fineline. Unless im mistaken.

I cant find anyone selling the fineline trim. The one that looks like wood in 3-d (for lack of a better way of describing it). Also cant imagine how it would look with black interior.

The 3d wood you describe was a Modern Line exclusive.

I'm sure, that ebay seller's prices in many cases are higher than MSRP.

Care to share what the dealer charged? I tried to cross reference the part number in the ebay ad to various online vendors, but it referenced just one piece of the kit, not the entire kit.
