Just want to point out that N55 ( newer 335i ) has no secondary cats hence the X-pipe is more free flow than N54 ( older 335i ) as the older one has 4 cats in total ( 1 on each downpipes and then one on each pipe in the X-pipe).
All exhaust box are cut in the same places and clamped back on easily. BMW will not void your warranty etc if they do you can ask them to prove how did it affect your car to cause the problem. For N54 it is advised to get the decatted X-pipe from the N55 to go with the performace exhuast. MOT wise i'm unsure but i did read somewhere bmw made it 2 part system. if you have n55 you don't need the new x pipe etc GLWS OP

I have one of these and it increases the enjoyment of the 335i no end, the novelty never wears off.
Anybody that's heard it say it sounds great. Well worth the £££'s p.s. not got the de-cat x-pipe. can't see how it would make much of a difference. |
