Nice run. We don't see too many N55 drag runs. Not sure why. When I had my 2007 there were a lot of people posting their runs with all types of modifications and stock.

Partly due to almost every N55 is still under factory warranty, that should change shortly. There aren't as many options for N55s, especially F30s, as far as mods go. And worst of all the mods don't give you as much bang for your buck. The N54 responded better to tunes/mods and the tuners have had more time to develop them.

There are quite a few, I think a poster on this board has hit 11.9 in the 1/4 with his F30 (Getagun ?)

I don't believe it was due to warranty. These times were going up shortly after the cars were out and lots of different people running them. It was probably due to the simplicity of tuning the N54 coupled with no need to worry about warranty denial.

I just mentioned the warranty because a lot of people would rather wait awhile before they mod their car in fear of warrant denials. Some aren't worried about it but some are.

I think we're saying the same thing though.
