Improper DCI install??
Ok, it feels lame posting this thread. How hard can install a DCI be. . .really?
Here's some pics. The car runs great and I love hearing the snails spool. Has anyone else run into this issue though? My rear intake is jammed up against the intake manifold, and it's pushing it's way into the rubber mold, and I assume will eventually f*#k up the cone. I thought I did everything the way BMS said with spacing, etc. I feel like a moron, but whats the deal? |

It's fine. Super tight area you're working with for the rear inlet, assuming you leave the cowl on overhead.

Normal!
your cones will eventually get messed up. Usually happens for me when i take out my engine cowl and remove the battery wire holder.
