Because it's all in one. Combines your 18-55 lens and the 55-200 lens so you have extra zoom and just need to carry one lens around

Hey I just got a 55-200mm and when I shake it I can hear something moving around inside. Is that normal?

I've sold all my equipment already except this one. I don't use dslr much longer as I find it troublesome to lug everything around while traveling. I just go with a small Nikon 1 now

fvkin great price on this one. I have this same lens and wish my wife had paid $250 for it. great lens and a good all around lens to keep from lugging around the kit lens plus the 55-200. outside of my nifty fifty, this is the other lens I keep in my bag. Hope to get an 11-16 f/2.8 in the near future for an even wider lens. GLWS!
