Roll Hard & Players 2013 - PIC HEAVY

A selection of Pics I took at RH and Players this weekend gone. I'm no photographer... just starting out with a Nikon D5100 DSLR so excuse the amateur pics..... I am looking for another good lens but don't know which one, wide angle or zoom.... Any budding or pro photographers out there willing to shed some light please?

Nice pics, sort of wish I'd made Rollhard but had Forge Action Day to go to.

As for lens, either a 50 1.8, or a zoom with a fixed lens. Or even a 35mm prime. Not sure on what Nikon lenses.

Nice pics! Esp. the Black Bird!

I really am curious, can any of those cars which are "slamed" actually be driven?

It just looks like the wheels cannot turn left or right? :wacko:

Even if they can be driven, the look really does not do it for me...

I'm surprised most people don't know, especially in the car world, that the majority of slammed cars are on adjustable suspension which raises up so they can drive and lowers back down when parked. Although if you can sort of see how they'd turn etc, its probably static as that's considered more hardcore and impressive.
