WTB ASAP: 2x Rear OEM 225M wheels (or all 4 if you have them)

Was about to get rear tyres replaced and the shop found 5 cracks in one wheel and 2 in the other. Looks beyond safe repair to me.

Need to replace them ASAP. Mine are matte black but anything will do I can get them powder coated etc.

Anybody?

Alternatively I will also buy 4x stock wheels (of any sort) to replace all round. Needs to be 19x8 and 19x9 so that I can re-fit the existing tyres and new tires that were meant to go on today. OR I'll also take 4 wheels with tyres already

Thanks!

Nahh it wasn't, went to my local Tyrepower. One tire had a hole in it front being so worn out so I had some shitty ones on order until I can afford 4 pzeros, but as they were about to put the new tire on the rims they found 5 cracks in one and 2 cracks in the other. Not good! Especially for genuine bmw wheels, first time theyve seen that many in a non-chinese knock off.

Spoke with a wheel repair shop who said they could weld and fix the cracks up for $500 for both wheels, but I figured they will probably just crack again in the near future and it's not worth the hassle, especially when running non-run flats.

I'm going to buy some new VMR v701's on Wednesday if nothing else comes up before hand

Out of interest, what year is your car?
I thought that this issue was fixed by 2010.
Also, are the wheels made by crommadora?

This is a common issue? Do I have a chance of some sort of payment from BMW?

I'm not sure on manufacturer but ill know tomorrow when the stock wheels come off and I put on VMR V701's that I'm buying.

My year was 2009 so before the fix if that's what you are talking about

I have a set of 225M but am located in Perth. 2 fronts and 1 rear have Bridgestone RFTs on them and the other rear had a small crack that was professionally repaired and balanced.
