Need a new exhaust!

As the title says, my Exhaust was damaged during the accident a while back and we just found out.. insurance is going to take care of it so my question is does anybody know how much the full OEM BMW Exhaust system is?? the piping is bent and it makes the right muffler tweak down a little. I was thinking if I should get the Eisenman Exhaust system if the price is anywhere similar to the OEM, and even so I might just pay the difference.

thanks,

the piping to make it a catback is like $600

its prob cheaper going with an aftermarket exhaust vs OEM.

It's to my understanding that the 335i piping (particularly the right side) is bent and not perfect stock. These bends are forward of the rear differential, right where the two pipes meet (where you install an X-pipe). This is one reason people decide to replace the system with less restrictive piping over stock.

Also most 335i right muffler tip is tweaked down just a slight bit stock. Members have posted threads regarding this annoyance.

I apologize if i've disappointed you in anyway. It sounds like you're real excited so I hope it is damaged. Racing or Meisterschaft?

This thread by MITE46 has more stock under body photos. Some great nonstock photos too.

stock exhaust is not expensive.

but imho exhausts are weak sauce and only losers have an exhaust system

but seriously i doubt oem costs will cover u on an eisenhaus system unless u're only changing mufflers but even then...

What kind of exhaust do you want, and how much do you want to spend?

We can get from AA, to SS, to Borla, Eisenmann, etc, etc. The list goes on.

Just let me know.
