Plastic On X5, SO UGLY! M sport package?

I think that the black bumpers on the X5 are absolutly hideos. We currently have an X3 with the OEM Aerodynamics package on it because we thought those ugly bumpers and ugly wheel wells were unacceptable. My wife wanted to trade her X3 but would not give it up for those ugly bumpers.

Will the M Sport Package get rid of those ugly plastics on the car. We noticed the X6 did not have them. Will the X6 be bigger than the X3 or smaller? Does anyone have a good idea what the M Sport Package is.

Why does BMW put those black bumpers on anywaY. I dont think anyone is off roading with them and maybe a factory option should be available to have them painted for a charge.!

PS the X5 is gourgoes otherwise! I will not buy one with black bumpers. Plastic is gross.

X6 will be a larger vehicle than the X3, different chassis, the X3 I believe is built on the 3 series chassis.

Black bumpers would not be my personal choice, but they do make the vehicle look more rugged and aggressive.

buschy: How are you doing a swap? What would be the deal in doing a swap?

The dealer scratched my car and I refuse to have a brand new 75+$ car with paintwork done. so they are buying out my current x and ordered me an 08 to replace it. BMWFS will jsut switch the vehicles on my loan.

I am trying to get teh wife to get black saph, but she says it hot.
I think that will complement my carbon black 550


she says she wants white again, but I dont know if she really does.
dont think I like the blue.
I know she likes the graphite or grey so not sure I got about a week to decided.

Black would really look nice, like you said, it will complement your black 550. Hopefully she chooses black, please post pictures when you receive it.

White has the elegant look and black has the intimidation.

First off you don't wnat to pass on comfort seats, they are a must. I will never buy a bmw without them again. seriously they are the best.
second you cant get headrest dvd with the comfort seats,. so just get teh stadard one, it works great. the angle if fine for watching tv and unless you climb into the back of your car from the front its not in the way.
there are also the seatback dvd dealer installed but I dont like those.

I did not know about the comfort seats at the time and did not have any vehicles in the showroom with the seats. I will definitely purchase comfort seats the next time around.

What exactly is different with the seats besides reading in the forums it being softer.

Regarding DVD....Do not know what im going to do yet.

did you get your truck already? if its not built ADD the CS, imediatly..
the difference is like sittin on a stadium bleacher, compared to a lazy boy recliner..

softer more comfy fit better, headrest is like a pillow..
dont tell bmw but comfort seats are worth 5k the headreast alone I would pay a grand for..
trust me if my wife comments about them all the time then they are worht it.
