Check Control system - malfunction ?
My check control system is slowly deteriorating, and I don't know how to correct or reset the system.
It used to warn me when doors were open, trunk was open, but now I don't/can't get these messages to appear. However, I do get some of the messages -- like when I take my comfort access keyfob outside the vehicle, don't have seat belt on, exterior bulb goes out, turn DTC off or on. My concern is that this system is supposed to warn me of important problems (like engine overheating !!), and I'm afraid it won't anymore. Anyway to troubleshoot, reset or fix this ? I've read through this forum, my manual and Bentley service, and don't see any answers. Thanks for any help. http://www.e90post.com/forums/images/smilies/iono.gif Cliff 2006 330i, 120K mi |

The door and trunk open warnings only show when the car is moving above a certain speed.
