If the last oil change was done at the dealer, the dealer can look up the service history.
If not then there is no way to know other than your own or previous owner records.

I found mine out on a Carfax search. It was on the Carfax report. SA confirmed when I brought it in for an annual oil change.

Thanks for the info guys.
What will I have to get if I want to do it myself? I mean how many quarts of oil and which oil to get? Do I have to get new filter as well? |

If you're asking if you need an oil filter please for the love of god to not change your oil on your expensive BMW.

^ ^ In other words, would you like us to wipe your ass for you too? How about a little searching: A) The Owners Manual; B) the Internet; C) the E90 Post Website in the DIY section. Just for starters. The car has been out for 8 years now; there's is a lot of information about it almost anywhere you look. |

If an interval one was done, you really can't tell. Because the dealer does not reset the reminder, but they should peg the count up by one. I don't think you see the peg count without a BT tool, and again, you don't know how long ago it was done. So in that case, you have to assume and subtract what remains. Problem is I saw mine reset to 2 yrs. and 19k? It used to be 1 yr. and 15k.
