I stumbled on this while researching the 8" Alpine as an alternative head unit for my SL63. Obviously this wouldn't be for the folks with Nav; Still I'm not sure how I feel about it. However, I will admit that fabrication wise they did a hell of a job!!!

I agree on the first note, but disagree on the 2nd. I think the bezel's in keeping with the lines in the interior and don't think there was much of an option other then what you see, but then that's only one angle. OP, can you take some shots from different angles please?

Sorry as I said, I stumbled on that photo and thought I'd share it. I don't have any other pics with different angles; and I agree re: the bezel, I don't see what else you could do with it.

I don't like the aftermarket options for installing a screen I'm that position. Instead of molding it in it should sit flush with the sides so when you're driving it you aren't reaching too deep. Like how I have my iPad just chillin it's more user friendly.
