Seat belt replacement question
I'm replacing the passenger seat belt to fix the dreaded seat belt tensioner issue, and the seat belt I purchased is locked and won't extend. How do I get it to unlock?
Also isn't the seat belt tensioned by a motor? How does this work and do I need to connect any cables or anything? This part I don't understand.

huh? The E9X do not use pretensioning seatbelts. They are non pretensioning TRW retractors with pretensioning buckle assembly. You probably have the wrong part.
To unlock it you will need to physically move the spool to feed in more of the belt webbing before the luck will release. |
