First mod

Got the car last week, had to start with a little cosmetic changes and figured id share.

Blacked out the grille's, and the bottom three as well, super easy DIY that makes a world of difference IMO

do you have to take the bumper off to get at the lower grills or can you pop them out?

I looked for every way possible to pop them out, no go. Took the splash shield off and tried from underneath, I even had them pop off the bumper from the front using a pick tool to pop the plastic loose, but then couldnt pull them out from inside. so I taped everything up and just painted them while on. The only way to take them off is by removing the bumper. As for the top grilles, there are 4 screws on the top of the bumper, after removing them the bumper can be moved forward and grilles popped out.

Perfect first mod. The grilles are the first thing I've taken care of on all four of my e92s

I wanted to, but I did not. I tried spraying more at an angle, instead of straight on, to where it did not shoot straight back, it seemed to help out, didnt get everything black in there haha

they pop in* but once popped off, it is not possible to pull them out, without the bumper removed, so still have to remove the bumper to go that route.
