Matching the color of the OEM Xenons on pre-LCI E90
Hello,
I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer so hopefully someone can help me out. I recently purchased a 2007 328i pre-LCI with OEM Xenon Headlights and really like the color they emit. Looking to upgrade the Angel Eyes to LED to produce a whiter color and I wanted some advice on how to try and match the color of the OEM Xenons. Also will be doing the same thing with the Fog Lamps...so any suggestions would be much appreciated. I think it would be closest to 6000k color temperature...but I dont know? My main questions would be this: 1) What temperature/color are the OEM Xenons from an 07" 328i? 2) What would be the best Angel Eye Lights/Daytime Running Lamps to buy to whiten up the look? 3) What type of fog lamps would be best to buy in order to match the OEM Xenons and the new Angel eye/Daytime Running Lamps? Any advice? Please?

OEM xenons are ~4350K.
personally, I couldn't find rings that would match all around (and honestly, seems like it would just be a giant blob of warm white) so I went with mtec v3s and 6000K hid fogs. pretty solid match. got the angel eyes coded as DRLs instead of the inners/h7s and that was it.

Also, What kind of bulbs are needed for a plug and play fog lamp swap? I might go with a 6000k HID kit, I havent decided yet...

e92-lighting's official bulb list
Best color match I've seen so far: Angel Eyes = Mtec v3/v4; LUX 5.2(or whatever the hell is the newer one) Fogs = Mtec super white(they'll a more bluish tint up close, but at 20ft+ they'll match spot on) Coding the AEs(Angel Eyes) to DRLs(Daytime Running Lights) means you have someone program the car to replace the inner DRLs with the AEs so they will always be on as long as you keep the switch on Auto(someone correct me on this last part if i'm mistaken on something). E92s and E93s has it programmed from the factory. There's also the DRL mode on the switch that you can use(one right of off). Only problem is that it gets annoying turning it on/off everytime you get in/out of the car.
