M3/M4 Pre Order Poll
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Well, last month I totaled my E92 M3 at Spa-Francorchamps race track. Today I finally got everything squared away with insurance and I went to look at some other than M3 cars, namely 2013 Audi RS5. After a test drive I was not impressed, it looks awesome, it sounds awesome BUT Audi's DCT has a slight delay from paddle to shift action, the engine just didn't pull like I thought it would, and the car's interior is not very roomy...back seat is pretty much useless. After I was done driving RS5 I went and put a deposit on 2014 M3...my production number is reserved Below is my M3 after it got towed off of the track...RIP Last edited by Chill72; 08-23-2013 at 06:40 PM.. |

I see what you mean. Either way, sorry for the loss of the previous car but congrats on the new one ordered. I guess now it is a waiting game for both of us.

#1 at my dealer and no $ down at all!!! I have bought several BMWs from them, so no $ needed. Same thing when I ordered my 135i, just a handshake was required...

That is probably true that's why I think they'll treat these pre-orders on first come first serve basis when production does become confirmed.

Also...poll needs "No. I will not be buying an F30M3/4" option.

Getting on a list at the dealer...
Every dealer will get a certain number of allocations per month when the car enters production. I have my name against the first one at my dealer. When they have allocations that are not spoken for by a customer, they use those to order cars for their lot.

Where did you wreck and how did it go bad? Given the extent and location of the damage and the direction of the front tires, I'm guessing Rivage or Les Combes -- or maybe Raidillon or Stavelot if you were able to scrub some speed off. How did I do?

This should be interesting. After watching the guys over at 1addicts go through the crazy, unpredictable allocation process surrounding the 1M, I would say that you need something in writing confirming your car. Even with $$, you will need an actual production number.
As soon as you can, lock in a production number and - importantly - lock in your price (lots of guys trying to get a 1M saw their dealers change price once thy realized how amazing and in demand the car was). And get it in writing. |

Almost every post you make is false, yet you speak like it is fact. I hope no one bases any decisions on your posts.
