to delete or not to delete?

Ok so I'm getting my RE Ikon next week. I am going to get it put on and see how it sounds for the first week or two. If it's not loud enough I am going to get the resonator taken out?... Any thoughts, info, personal experience would be great.

You'll not only make it louder, but you'll get the higher pitched sounds.
So, if you like that then do it.

That's interesting because I've noticed in the past that resonators usually tend to take away higher pitched sounds resulting in deeper sounds, but this is straight through resonators. I don't know what kind of resonator you have in the 328.

i think you will be good enough with just the ikon by itself, with the resonator delete, it might be too loud (at least for me) for everyday driving

heres my thread about my ikon install, have a look at pics+vids:
