v2.0 map difference between auto and manual??

Shiv (or anybody who knows) I noticed you have a different download map for whether you have an auto or manual with v2.0

With the v1.x versions the maps were the same right?
What is the differences with the v2.0 maps that require a different map for whether you have an auto or manual?

Just curious thanks.

Probaly the torque since the manual can take more strain. Just a guess.

This has been a constant debate, and so far no one has heard anything definite. Hopefully Shiv chimes in with some hard data.....

There is only one V2.0 Map. The ones for 6AT and 6MT are for the stock setting for Valet mode...

Yes, the 535i's ECU is set up differently than the 335i.
You can NOT interchange the PROcedes.

Ive got the correct PROcede installed and await V2. My question is regarding the maps? if they are different, why aren't any posted anywhere? I can't be the only 535i with PROcede that is upgrading to V2.....

It could be cause the autos use a small cooling loop for the AT which goes through the radiator. Meaning the water gets more hot than MT's, so the elec. waterpump might work a bit harder. Just my guess.

In the auto map, we just make a couple of changes to high rpm boost behavior in order to smoothen the upshift. No biggie.

You are very quick. I have not been sure whether the upshift felt different compared to V1.47.

Thanks !

I was referring to the PROcede v1.x harness and software.
Shiv might have made the v2 software the same for the two, as you said, Shiv needs to post and advise on that.
