Barclays Premier League Predictions

Hi,

Seeing as the footy is going to be up and running tomorrow, thought i'd start a predictions thread. Predict the final top 5. Then at the end of the season we can see who was right

My one is:

1) Manchester United
2) Chelsea
3) Manchester City
4) Tottenham
5) Arsenal

(Subject to change when the transfer window closes)

Chelsea with Man City 2nd.

Man Utd 3rd by a distance, Spurs 4th with Arsenal 5th.

The next countless places could be anyones with Southampton my surprise package for next year.

Hull and Palace to be relegated very early

Chelski ! .

I am a huge admirer of SAF but I for one are glad he has gone , I dont actually support any team as such, but do enjoy a good game of football .

Same as when Ferrari were cleaning up in F1 , now im bored with Red Bull ,I would like Renault/Lotus to win and see Williams improve and fight for podiums

It's a crazy league in view of how uncompetitive it is at the other end where you've got teams with absolutely no fcuking chance.

Chelsea are 2/1 and Hull are 3000/1 in the same league? Absolutely stupid.

Look at The Championship and it may as well be a different sport.

Man utd will clear up as long as Ferdinand and Vidic stay fit. With either one out of action for a prolonged period, I would expect Chelsea to take the title.

Wenger will go this season.

1 - Man Utd
2 - Chelsea
3 - Man City
4 - Spurs
5 - Liverpool
6 - Arsenal

Sorry folks but when monkey boy bale fecks off Spurs will be just as screwed as the Arsenal are. As per every year, posting on the internet how Arsenal are in decline doesn't make it so.

Granted, our manager appears to be in the middle of a mental breakdown of some kind as I type: But we're still in better standing than Totteringham ..

disagree Dave, Im not your typical Spurs fan (in that I don't constantly harp on about the 'gap' or 'divide') but the signings we have made over the summer make us a better squad than we were this time last season. You cannot say the same about Arsenal (as it stands).

Losing Bale would make us worse off, no doubting that, but any team losing Bale would be worse off (in his current form).

True, its all about the points after 38 games, and more than likely the Mighty Spurs will throw away another 10 point lead going into the last 5 games of the season LOL

Spur's has lots of good players too but we never know. If wenger can get 1 quality striker , a proper goal keeper and defenders then it would be different.

So after the first weekend Man City are 9/5 to win the Premier League next April and Crystal Palace are 10,000/1

Anyone else think this is a ridiculous state of affairs?

I think its ridiculous Man Utd aren't favourites to win the league. We are the defending champions with the best player in the league.

Yes. Should be at least 10, 000, 000/1

Nobody outside the top few clubs even has a chance. The gulf between the top few and even the mid table is huge.
