M Performance Exhaust on F30 320d

Hi

Anyone tried fitting the m performance exhaust on the f30 320d? I know its meant for the 328i, am looking for options for my 320d for a deeper sportier sound (tough considering its a diesel). Someone's offering to sell me their performance exhaust am wondering if (1) it would fit without any hacking about (2) if it would make a difference

As far as I know that for the 320d the only available option is Performance exhaust tip.

Yea, it sucks that bmw only provides an exhaust tips option.
Anyone knows if there are other options around? don't see a point of changing the exhaust tip....

Although we do not have experience with your specific model, Eisenmann Germany does have a system for your vehicle. This exhaust is available in both a dual tip as well as quad tip version.

Hacking would be required even if you had a 335i.

I wanted to get that, but cutting the rear bumper is a hassle

I had the dual pipes installed on my 320d before delivery. I hated the single exhaust pipe which comes standard on the engines smaller than 325d/328i.

It does not change the exhaust note; compared to the standard twin pipes these have a larger diameter. If you have an M Sport you just need to change the rear diffuser to accommodate the twin pipes, otherwise you need to cut. There is insert you can buy which will hide the cut, that piece will need to be painted to match your car.

In rgds to the installing these to petrol models, my understanding is it's not possible due to the exhaust layout the car. The bend in the exhaust pipe is the wrong angle for petrols (what couple of dealer told me, and owners on the forum wanting the upgrade).

actually i still havent decided yet

One option I have here is to get the Remus kit (dual or quads) for 320d, but I really can't tell how much sound improvement there will be, I only found a couple of dodgy videos online. so i'm hoping someone else around here will install it first so i can go check it out in person [fingers crossed]

dude if you want sound get an eisenmann. had one on my 120d and it had an awesome sound.
