BMW have announced today 4.9% financing on the first 2008 335’s
Just got an email today from my BMW finance guy. Don't know if anyone else has heard of this but might be good to note and inquire further with your dealer if interested.
My car is going to be here in a few weeks and was planning to finance a portion. The best rate I found prior was from USAA @ 4.99-5.99 fixed up to 60+ months. Think I am going to dig into the BMW one just for the ease. From what I was told this loan is good up to 60 months and should have no problem getting approved with a 700+ beacon score. Plus my guy added this at the end of the email; "The best thing about our product? You don’t have to pre arrange anything, you can roll in here, sign the papers and drive off…. On top of that if you stay with BMW for the future, you qualify for owner loyalty discounts and other programs. Plus you get the rockstar BMW Card free of charge which is invite only… OK so its not a Black Amex but its close " lol no clue what the rockstar BMW card is.. |

ohsnap thanks. I'm going to ask my BMW finance guy about that. I'm already approved for a 5.99% loan from Capital One.

As stated in the original post; Fixed 4.9% up to 60 months, 100% financing with no early payoff penalty. No clue why anyone would want a car loan over 60 months anyhow..

Sorry, I see it now :P As for a longer term, it will allow lower payments in which you could pay more than required (additional would go toward principal) or refinace later if not financially stable. I plan to go longer since I want to get a house in mid 08 and don't want to be strapped for cash. In the mean time, I plan to just pay more which will go straight to principal. |

It's quite typical they will finance over 100% (of MSRP). Things like rolling in negative equity, any backend product you want will easily take you over 100% of MSRP. |

That is a good rate, I just financed my 2007 335i last week (one of the last production slots), through BMW, and only got 5.9% for 60months, with 800+ credit score.

I called the finance guy at my dealer and was able to get 3.99% for 60 months. I was going to get a home equity loan for 6.48% so I figured I saved myself about $1200. If you a car make sure to call your delaer and ask, I believe this offer just came out.

I don't think it matters coupe or sedan as long as it's a 335. When my finance guy asked me all I told him was that it was a 2008 335, I did not specify coupe or sedan.

Rate not for convertibles
I saw your post regarding the lower rate and called my finance guy. Unfortunetley for me the rate does not apply to convertibles.
Oh well! |

And if youre concerned about paying more in the end you should just wait until you can buy outright. Why finance at all? |

I hope for both our sakes that I am right and you can complain to them. I'm also in NJ, so do you think location has something to do with it? My car came in on Integrity on 9/30 and was discharged on 10/1. I hope to fill out the paper work this weekend and make sure. Regards, |

Man I'm seeing all these great rates. Is it the same throughout the US? I live in CA and I'm sure my rates will be a little higher. If I can get 5.99 or lower that would be awesome. My score is 800+ and 3.99 would be too sweet.
