Dynopack Dyno today - 335i

I went to dyno my 335 today. 4 runs total, 2 with the intake cover on, 2 with it off. It was about 75 degrees out.

With the cover on:
261whp / 297wtq

With the cover off:
272whp / 298wtq

These seem a little low - does anyone know if Dynopack registers lower HP/TQ readings?

Not low at all; those numbers are very consistent with most 335i stock dynos. I got 265WHP / 286 lb.-ft. RWTQ (stock). Nice TQ number btw!

Not really sure... it was a 4th gear pull. Downpipes will be going on sometime this week

I want to get bolt on mods on before putting on a piggyback. Then, I can finally do a proper tune and get every ounce of power out of my car

I went to a place in Linden - it should be pretty close to where you are. It's on route 1, a little hidden, but the guys who work there are pretty cool. I'll definitely let you know the next time I go!

My coupe has been dynod using a dynapack well over 15 times (thurought the past couple weeks) for an engineering company who is making an intake.

The numbers I saw were higher (as is the case with dyna packs) Yours must have been corrected somehow? I was showing a baseline of around 295whp.

On a side note, the intake they've made consistantly shows gains of 10whp, ill be posting pics once its a finished product.

Sounds like good numbers....use the same shop/dyno and same temps when you dyno the downpipes. Keep us updated...

what company and how much. If its under $500 they might be able to sell a few. $300 or under and they will sell a bunch.

Really good stock numbers. Can you tell us if your car is a '07 or '08, and how many miles?

gator i think it's always better to get all exhaust components, intake, fmic, etc, etc, first and then get the car tuned properly...makes much much more sense than just slapping on a piggyback and constantly changing maps and such...why work backwards...exhaust is the first thing i do
