FS/FT: Rear View Mirror with integrated Valentine 1 Concealed Display
Selling my auto-dimming rear-view mirror with a custom integrated concealed display for Valentine 1 radar detector. The concealed display itself was modified with colored LED for easier band identification and then integrated into the mirror. This setup allows a very clean factory like install. It is a very nice addition to your V1 setup. When on, the lights come on and shine through the mirror, when off it looks like completely stock mirror. There is a 8' cord that comes out from the back of the mirror to plug into a V1. Overall the mirror's condition is 8-9 out of 10 with some minor scuffs from opening it, and a tiny scratch on the mirror's glass, otherwise it is in a great condition (request close-up pics if interested). While concealed display lights are perfectly visible at dark, they are dim, but still visible at daylight. The mirror does not have compass and homelink functionality. Compatible with any 2007+ 1,3,5,X,M-series I am looking to sell the mirror for best offer, or trade.

Bump for cool mirror. Looks very well implemented. Don't have V1 (yet) so no use to me haha. If it had compass and homelink I might get it anyway

I attempted to do this with autodim+homelink+compass mirror, but there was not enough room inside the mirror to build-in the concealed display.

I don't really understand you guys... What the point of having ALL the gadgets?... Compass? Do you really need it, do you get lost all the time, so you can't live without one? Really? Possibly the least useful feature of the car... Homelink? It is useful, but it is just a convenience - most garages have remote opener anyway... Clown nose for alarm? Yes, you actually need it. But how many of you have the alarm active? Anyway, my point is that all those "gadgets" maybe not as important...

Just curious, where would you put (hide) the radar detector itself?

What dash cam do you have and how long has it worked? I've heard of them failing a lot.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

It is blackvue dr400g-hd. Got it little over a year ago, and it has been working just fine. Excellent device.
