Save yourself time and contact Wedge. I though I had everything configured correctly after spending hours and I was faced with things not working right. After more time spent I was able to flash the Alpina, then lost my paddle shifters. I contacted Wedge and he has an automated scrip that he wrote that installs everything correctly. Also he does not charge, but accepts donations. The time he saves me and his knowledge was well worth a donation.

Once I get to the NCS Expertentool the step where I chose the chasis, I dont see e90, but I read that I should select e89, when I select e89 it throws up a pop box giving some sort of error, I cant recall it right now, its been about a 3 weeks since I did it. But long story short, it doesnt load my vin # under the FG field or display anything under the FA field...

I have no idea if this is a windows 7 (x64) thing or just a me failing at life thing.

I have an e92 2007 pre-LCI 335i, if that makes any difference.

I can be more detailed if you want me, I should have time to fool around with my car tomorrow after work.

Standard Tools works with Windows 64 bit.

If your cable works correctly that means that your software is not installed properly. Update sp-daten, it is the most important thing.
