Style 230 19'' wheels

I recently saw that BMW has listed the style 230 wheel as an option for the 335i. However, the caption reads "delayed delivery".

I am purchasing an '08 335xi coupe and want to use these wheels for my summer tires and put snows on the 18" (Style 189 Wheels). They (Style 230) are not available as an option yet, but I plan on purchasing them later from the dealer.

Is there any reason to believe that these 19" (230) will not work with the xi? I realize that the ride height is a little higher with xi, but if the overall circumfrance is the same, the tire/fender gap shouldn't look awkward, right?

Thank you in advance for any responses.

I have a 335xi and the gap in front is pretty substantial. I think if you get a bigger rim, the "illusion" of a bigger wheel gap is created. A smaller rim actually creates the impression of less gap. I'm looking into KW variant 3 coilovers for some adjustability.

Devo - You still using those 230's on your XI? What type of tires do you have on those 230's? Im looking at putting some 230's on mine as well but im not sure what size tires and offsets just yet.

not to thread jack, but have a question relating to 230's on an xi... should BMW suggested tire sizes for the 230 be used on xi's (225/35F 255/30R) or other sizes to accomodate the AWD?
