2013 335i xDrive Test Drive & Review by Autobytel

Quote:
http://www.autobytel.com/bmw/335/2013/ The BMW 335i is a compact luxury car that comes as a 2-door, 4-door, and convertible. This model tested here comes with the xDrive intelligent AWD system that can be found on many BMW vehicles. This system provides stability on slick less than optimal roads. The 2013 BMW 335i with xDrive has a base price of $45,150.

The BMW 3-Series is at the top of the list year after year when it comes to small sporty luxury sedans. The latest models are packed with many technological advancements including the optional xDrive AWD system. Under the hood of this 2013 BMW 335i lives a twin-power 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder that is turbocharged. Power is rated at 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque which is delivered to the intelligent AWD system. There are 2 different transmission choices: a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy ratings are 20 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.

The ride and handling are solid not stiff. If you want stability when the road gets sloppy you will opt for the xDrive equipped 335i. BMW's EfficientDynamics includes Brake Energy Regeneration, Electric Power Steering, and a Stop-Start System. The interior on the 2013 BMW 335i is top shelf featuring high end leather and lovely wood trim. The rear seats are more accommodating than the previous generation.

The 2013 BMW 335i xDrive is a thrill to drive but it is not a boy racer car. Instead it is for folks who savor performance, appreciate efficiency, and need traction when the road conditions get tough.

creepiest "punch it into sport mode and it gets real sick...real fast" line ever...followed up by some hair raising tire chirping (3:10). Sharknado has better production value
