BMW Steps Up....

Well after numerous issues with my previous e90 335i, I finally got a new car under the Virginia Lemmon Law. My previous car was a Feb07 build and my new one is a Aug07 build. After getting my fuel pump replaced..(when I gave the car back it was dying again with only 2000mil on it) the navigation replaced, head light issues which I found out there is a recall for the headlights shakeing at night and many other issues. Well I must say this car (SO Far) is much better.

I know this is off-topic, but it brings up an epidemic of poor spelling, use of the wrong form of a verb, incorrect use of homonyms (i.e., to, two, too, etc...), and other butchering of the English language on this forum. It's disgraceful. That's what happens when a potentially interesting thread gets torn apart because of a simple spelling error.

Anyway, congrats on getting rid of that piece of shit for a new car. Good job!

Did you get exactly the same car?

Now that you are finished venting, (And I did say thank you for the correction) like you really give a F--- about my new car. I think the heat in Arizona is getting (to) you.

the headlight issue is NOT a recall. If it's bothering you then take it in and BMW should repair or fix it under a Service Technical Bulletin.

I was just helping you out. The rest is a jingle from a local car dealership. No need for the profanity

Man I noticed my headlights do that as well. Its annoying as hell, anytime you hit any kind of bump they jitter.

The bulletin says to check and inspect if the headlights are properly installed. If so then it calls to install a support bracket behind the headlights.

Thanks for the information, I'll have to mention it to my SA next time I'm at the dealer (I've noticed it, but it doesn't really bother me).

+1 ... people try so hard to look smart on these forums, literally like vultures on here just waiting for the next guy to make a mistake with their "Grammar" on a thread and then bash the sh** out of em. For godsake the man wrote two M's in "Lemon", anybody could have made the same mistake.. he must have hit it twice by accident because he was typing too fast. Its not a big deal. Get over it. Save the lecture.

I agree with you that it was a little uncalled for in this instance but, some times the crap that people post is unreadable because of their lack of grammar. I have no problem with someone being a grammar Nazi then. I'm talking about posts with no punctuation, no paragraphs, using some type of shorthand that only stenographers can understand not, misusing too and to.

Here it was clearly just a mistake and we all knew what he was talking about.
