i am assuming you want to do an oil change that is outside of the maintenance schedule, because it would otherwise be free.

I suggest calling your dealer and asking how much rather than just assuming it will be expensive. I had the BMW dealer do a few oil changes on my e46 after the free maintenance period and found that cost was pretty reasonable.

If not you can go to one of the drive thru places, but just make sure they have the oil you want. Changing oil is not rocket science, so they should be able to do as good a job as any.
