Masconi 120.4 Amp with Gladeen Harness Advice

Hi Guys,

I have just finished installing a Gladen 200 Series Kit with Masconi 120.4 Amp.

On the instructions it says ''For the the correct working of the FSA: If you have a RHD (Right Hand Drive) car, You have to read ''Left'' as ''Right'', so for example, you have to connect your right channel from the source to the ''Left'' channel of the Gladen One amp. In the output, connect your right side speaker to the ''Left'' section.

What I want to know if that. If I used a Gladen Harness does this still apply?

I have ignored this and moved the settings on my stereo to ''left'' and ''right'' which seems fine to me.

Any help would be appreciated.

Garage List
Switch them and see - the time alignment is preset for LHD which is why that instruction is there, so if it sounds good now, think how much better it will sound when it's set up properly

Where did you find this on the instructions? I can't find this info anywhere on the instructions that I have.

How does your set up sound now?

Hi Mate,

I found these on the bottom border of my instruction manual.

Mine is a non dsp version so could be different to yours.

Cheers,

Kal

I don't have a DSP version either. I have a slightly cheaper amp than to 120.4 amp you have too. I've checked the instructions and can't find anything regarding this.

How does yours sound now that Sam has played with the settings?

Seriously it sounds amazing... even surpassed Sam's expectations I believe... I wasn't expecting too much when going to see him as I know sometimes it's tricky, but I had the biggest smile on my face on the drive home, even took the long way round as I was enjoying the sound.

I've had the Alpine upgrade on my previous E92 335D and had BMW loudspeaker system on my E92 320D... This system is far better than both of them defiantly a noticeable difference.

Hope that helps... p.s. I used a 2 channel harness an use the head unit to power the rears.

Cheers,

Kal

I have listened to few Gladen kits in different cars. IMHO, your kits sounds the best out all Gladen kits I have heard. As Gladen kits are same, so I guess difference is Mosconi amp and the codings to adjust pdc / gongs and all worked well.

I am sure that this kind of sound system will keep you smiling for few months now.

shame i never got any use out of it, apart from it taking space in my cupboard.
