lightest would be no exhaust.... straight pipes right to the back of your car... its been done before... do a search... there's a video too, sounds pretty nice...

The biggest weight savings, unfortunately, involve cat deletes.
That said, I think some of the stainless systems can still save a substantial amount, >20 lbs.

Removing weight would be material and amount of cats/resonators/etc. deleted. A single custom titanium exhaust would be your best bet for weight reduction.

The dixis titanium is about 14lbs. I think Rogue sells them. That is light. Expect it to sound like a bunch of tin cans though.

Britalman is 48lbs. Vs. 76lbs. Stock (approx. 37% weight savings over stock)
(Everything in pic attached combined is only 48lbs.) It is fully stainless steel. Not bad at all since you consider you get a true full exhaust (being primary catback) which is almost the entire length of the car. We are running a special on Britalman 335i exhaust this month, contact us for a great deal. |

Try it and tell us! I don't think anyone on the post has gotten one yet. I heard an E46 M3 with one and it was raspy.
