US M-Sport bumpers vs Euro M-Sport bumpers

Is there a difference in the shape of the US vs. Euro M-Sport bumpers? I know the Euro has the fog lights. Is there another difference, even subtle? I know with many imported cars the bumpers have to be beefed up because of different crash regulations and this affects how they look.

I've heard this part of the bumper was thicker in the US than elsewhere is this true?
