European Car Mag. Nov. 07. M3killer 335i adders!
You guys have to get out to your nearest Borders book store and get this Mag!
On the cover it says PROVEN M3 killing 335i power adders. Talks of the Turbo Tuner and super sprint exhaust and DP's. Nice read. |

Ya have to wonder what sort of business deals are going on with these rags that come out with only one product. What we need is a nice comparison test, get the AA and PROcede et al up there, and a few of the more interesting exhaust systems. All in all nice article nonetheless. Thanks for posting it.

thanks wrh3 for the scan.
Yes more than a little misleading......No mention in the article of the new v-8 M3,,,,,,, they just say in the article, that it now has V-8 hp/Tq, but with better mpg. Grrrrrrrr, I wanted to see a smack down with the new M3. O well. |

Yes, kind of misleading......the cover says "M3 Killing Power Adders" but it does not repeat that in the article and having tested only products from a single manufacturer for each area addressed has limited value (to me anyway). It would be nice to see a full blown comparison between manufacturers products for each of these areas (are you listening EC? ).

Am I missing something: $6,000 for new downpipes to approach the power of an M3?
Doesn't it make for sense just to apply that money toward the real thing? |

Could have saved a lot of money buy just buying a Procede and letting everything else stock. ($1300). Obviously adding an exhaust system only increases the performance, but not as cost effective as the Procede alone.

It is safe to assume that they are referring to the new M3 (...evident in their mention of V8-like power). At least that is my perception. I could be wrong though.

Nice article find, but it's a bit laughable since we all know that adding the SSTT and the SS exhaust will NOT make the 335i an "E92 V8 M3 Killer." You will need A LOT more HP/ TQ from at least the PROcede v2.0 for that, and even then, a PROcede 335i may not exactly been deemed an absolute "M3 Killer." With that said, I think it's kind of cool that these 335i performance mods are catching some serious attention.
