Just to introduce myself! (Former E92 M3 Owner)
Hello All!
Decided it was time to part with my M3 and go with something a bit more "practical" for my daily! Ended up picking up a Estoril Blue II 328i xDrive (M Sport) and I could NOT be happier! I've had her for almost 1 week and have already done some work and have parts on order! M Performance Exhaust (should be @ the dealer on Friday) M Performance Front lip (painted to match except the lower splitter) M Performance Brake Kit (Red Calipers) ETA... August 3M 1080 CF Vinyl on the trim (could not justify $1000+ for the M Performance kit) LED DRL's Still deciding on wheels Upgraded Halogen Low Beams (waiting for Oneighty to release Style 1 headlights) TRYING TO SOURCE H&R SPRINGS! BUT H&R currently has them on backorder with NO date Anyways... here are some pictures -Chris My Old M The NEW!!!! (I transfered my license plate... I'll be getting a new vanity plate soon so please don't flame me ) One more pic... the CF wrap I did... sorry for crap quality... I was in the basement of a parking garage and was using my cell phone... looks AMAZING in person I'll have more pic's up after mods!

There is a group buy in the suspension section for the H&R Springs.
The MPerformance suede / CF dash kit is as low as $690 free shipping on eBay from a BMW dealer. Hell no would I pay $1000 for it.

Do you miss the E92? I am coming from one into the F30 due to a recent addition to the family, and not wanting to fill up every 250mls... Any way, car looks great, can't wait for mine to hit the shore!

Yes and no, I miss the power and just having a M3 I suppose... but the F30 quickly reminds me why I made the choice to switch and I could not be happier!

Good to hear, I just couldn't rationalize the same gas mileage in a sedan (E90 M3) and paying for a used one to boot. I think this F30 335i is going to do nicely, I appreciate the insight!

How about some pictures of your GTR? Did you consider 335i xdrive or S4? Coming from M3>R ownerships, it must've been very tempting to get the most out of the practical 4door.

Very nice.
I came from an E92 M3 as well. I miss the motor and the dynamics on some twisty roads, but the F30 is a great car for everyday. I don't miss the M3 interior, creaks/rattles and yellow DRLs. I sure hope I don't get tempted by an F80.. might be the best of both worlds! |

Also, I would have picked up a 335 but for economy sake I decided on the 328i... I'm considering a 4 series with the N55 motor... but it will be a while before I do anything... maybe a 911 turbo? I just wanted a sexy daily that had some decent power and living in MI the XDrive will help A LOT (for a daily)!
