Will I rub?
I have an e90 lci lowered on H&R sport springs currently on 162 wheels and want to get 18" VMRs and just keep my tires.
Anyway I used that tool at the top of this forum section to see the difference with new wheels and it says 9mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 17mm The car is really low and there is no gap between tire and fender, the wheel is basically tucking so I'm worried the tires will rub with added weight in the car. Front says 7mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 5mm but I think that is OK |

We recommend 18x8.5 ET35/18x9.5 ET45, which shouldn't pose any major problems. We can't guarantee anything on a lowered car, but we have quite a few people on our wheels that are lowered without an issue.
