Noob here, introducing myself with pics
Of my cars that is. Hey guys, I used to have a 02 330ci but it was totaled so i went with a 04 A4. I love the Audi but i really miss the feel of a BMW. So my quest of a something bmw starts. Most likely wont be for couple years but have been eyeing the E92. If theres soild word on the 335ci then ill put a deposit on it right away!
Anyways HI. OLD 330ci Current A4 1.8t 6-speed |

Do you not like your Audi because it is not a coupe? What do you miss about your BMW that your Audi cannot replace?

Well for one the steering on the bmw was tighter and more precise. The handling on the bmw was firmer with less body roll. Most importantly i miss that silky smooth inline 6.
The turbo 4banger isnt cutting it for me somtimes, just vibrates too much and turbo lag gets annoying. I drove the new 2.0t and that seems like a much improved engine though. I do love my interior over BMWs though and most options are standard on the audi unlike the bmw. (homelink, 6-disk changer, alarm, etc...) I have had the Audi for two years now.. and i enjoy it. Like i said im not in a rush to dump her just yet but been thinking of cheating on her with a BMW. |

That's real interesting. Thanks for the info.
I've always thought the A4 was a nice looking car, and Motor Trend has frequently given the nod to Audis. Consumer Reports on the other hand seems to have rated VWs, Audis and Porsches with bad reliability marks. Hearing this type of comparison from a "real-life" consumer who has driven the two vehicles means a lot more to me because you were openminded enough to buy and try both vehicles. Writers, on the other hand, are oftentimes more biased at the outset, and may tend to skew their reviews. |

Well my car has been reliable so no worries there. Lets also not forget my A4 was $33k new and the 330 was $43k new. So you always get what you pay for.

both of your cars looked/look good...the 05 A4 was a close 2nd choice when i was choosing what car to go with, then i tested the E90 and it said "buy me" or "drive it like you stole it" either one, can't remember...

Yup nothing like a silky smooth inline6 and many high tech gagits to support your every needs. BMW truly puts you there in the comfort zone

Part of me is scared on how reliable the 335i will be right away.
I sorta wanna wait a few months, maybe more. If i dont order one within 3 months after they release then ill stop posting, dont worry.

Anyway, your car looks great. I've always liked the looks of the Audi A4 but I'll never buy one. My brother owned an Audi and that thing was nothing but trouble. Completely turned me off .... for good. |
