I've noticed jbst2 is getting a lot of attention on here. I know there are many happy people, including myself. please don't turn this into another flame war please.

Anybody who has stage 2 can tell you that this little box makes our cars really fun.

BTW i have a stage one for sale if anybody wants one.

Ya but dont forget!

Its a cheap ripoff of another product, and it cost like 10 cents to make, and the guy is an ass, and , umm, well you dont get limp modes , and he delivers his product, and in return the Product Delivers back. With no issues.

O yea,, and its way underpriced to even be considered in a $45k car.

btw,, I got mine today in the Mail! : )

Plug that baby in and give us a report!

No limp modes is definitely an advantage does this thing come with the connectors like the SSTT?

How do the JB2 cars keep achieving such remarkable numbers? I mean, they make SO MUCH LESS power than the Procede cars, right???

A JB stg 2 running a mixture of race gas (as Terry did in these runs) should make similar numbers to a PROcede runnning straight pump gas. With no timing retard under boost, the extra octane from the race gas should give it an extra 25-30whp. With the v1 PROcede, adding race gas will only be worth 15-20whp because the 3-5deg of retard under boost is still being induced.

I don't know about that. I haven't seen too many Procedes pull off any 8 flats. If so, I'd like to see them. I'd also llike to know what gas they were running as well and I guess we'll just have to take their word for it.

I was really really excited to get the 8.22 with the procede v1.47 on street tires. If I would have had drag radials, I most likely would have gotten an 8 flat as well. I don't think anybody with a 335 has gotten into the 7s.

You'd need a steptronic Procede or Xede car to get or beat those numbers.

Don't forget about the lightweight 17 inch wheels, but that time is sure impressive.

1/8th mile traps is more about traction than it is about power. Case in point:
http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW--335i-Drag-Racing.html

This car belongs to maxboost. He is running a PROcede v1.x with drag radials and Step transmission. He ran a 8 flat at almost 109mph [at the end of ther 1/4 mile.]

And this:
http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-335i-Timeslip-11063.html

This is my car. It has a PROcede but with a 6mt and a full exhaust. But with stock tires. It didn't hook up all through 1st an half through 2nd gear. As such it ran a miserable 1/8th mile trap. But it still ran considerably faster 1/4 mile trap speeds (111.117mph). Clearly it made more power than the first example. But you wouldn't know it by looking at the 1/8th mile results. Things really don't start happening in these cars until the second half the strip. Before that, it's mostly driver and car set-up (traction).

I wonder what this guys 1/8th mile trap speed was:

Shouldn't you be shipping some PROcede V2's?
