Coding for DAB in my CIC

hi there, ive just added my dab aerial to my cic dab head unit and wanted to code it. ive added $654 to all fa's, is there anything else to do? DAB was there when i first installed but i lost the dab facility when i coded the cic to my car. it came from an m3 i believe, im a 335d. Any pointers would be appreciated. thanks nathan

Did you recode CAS, NFRM, CAAPL and CIC modules?

Hi, i updated cas and nfrm (FA) with the $654 but havent coded cic or caapl, dont know what caapl is. I was going to in ncsexpert, choose cic, then process ecu, i think this will work.

What modules do you see in NCSexpert when you press Process ECU?
Could you upload "print screen" here? I think you should recode something else.

Yes, right, you have CIC not CCC, so recode CIC module too.

in ncsexpert: choose chassis, read chassis/number, choose CAS, read fa, choose module CIC, press button "process ECU", ncsexpert will code module (CIC) to my FA??? yes? and thereby reading FA it knows i should have DAB and tell CIC to activate DAB. i will do this tomorrow and report back. thanks

Yes, if you didn't recode your CIC yet and if you will do it, then definately your issue will be resolved.

Yes, just clicked "process ecu" after loading CIC and voila, DAB appears and stations loaded. Ive got about 15 bbc stations and perhaps 18 other stations, absolute etc, is this the normal amount or does it depend on location. As i understand there is no DAB+, only DAB on my cic, its a 2011 M3.
