Seat Belt extender or maybe a new Booster seat?
My 328 arrives in a month but I decided to be safe and went by the dealer and had my daughter put her booster into a similar car and buckle in.
It did not go well.... The booster covered the slot and she had issues reaching all the way around to get the belt in. I had similar issues with my TL and I bought a seat belt extender. I then went to the same place I bought my other seat belt extender and saw this: http://www.greatravelstore.com/seat-...-window-seats/ Uh oh... So what are the parents of this forum doing? Is there a different booster that is more narrow and doesn't cover the seat belt slot? |

I think the rear seat belts are kinda awful for boosters. My daughter is in a Britax Frontier SICT and its almost impossible for her to buckle herself. The buckle slides under the seat. There was another thread about this awhile ago.

I have seatbelt extenders for my f30. I need them. This is strange.

I found the thread referenced above and the extender for the E90 that someone said worked on the F30. I am a little nervous since this looks to be an aftermarket one but I will see how it looks when it arrives.

I forgot what site it was but the one I have works with our e53 x5 as well as the f30. I've done some very unorthodox testing (wont get into that lol) and it works just fine. Exactly like the one in the car.

Yup. That's the one! It's a necessity IMO. I'm a worrier myself that's why I did my barbaric testing. I approve.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I think it's actually sold by "great travel" through amazon. It's only $20. It's the rigid variety so it stands up and makes it easier to insert the belt "tongue" into the buckle. I use it for my drivers seat as the OEM location is too far down and back and I was always hunting for it. Now I just pull the belt and click, no fumbling. Love it. It would work great for child seats too and make it much easier. Last edited by RPM90; 06-09-2013 at 11:59 PM.. |

A couple of years ago I bought my son a Bubble Bum inflatable booster for travel ($39.99 on Amazon). Not only is it the only one I have found that fits well in the back of the F30, but my son likes it the best. Very comfy he says.
