Planning to get a F30 328i
Planning to get a slightly used F30 328i and give it a tune. How can I know the car comes with N20 or N26? I've been looking around on cars.com and obviously its not mentioned. Should I get the N20 if Im planning to give it a tune, dp and exhaust?

Tunes and what not are available for both. Plug the vin in at bmwvin.com and it will yell you which engine.

There really is no preference at this point. There was a bit more downpipe options for the N20, but the N26 will soon be caught up. Also N20s now feature the same electronic boost control that the N26s exclusively had at first.
