Hex Data FF,1F means
Just wondering what is
FF,1F translated into the voltage? The nearest I found was FF,0F which is equal to 18 Volt. Thanks.

Nobody. I remember that there was a geek who was using windows 7 calculator to calculate.
I have tried it, but gone above my head

It could mean anything. 0xFF is just 255 in decimal or 11111111 in binary (one byte all 1's). When you have a hex value, it has to be normalized to the value being represented. Suppose you have a value that can vary between 11.00 and 14.80 V. That's a 3.80 volt spread. If your resolution is 0.01 volts, that's 3.80 volts or 0.015 volts per bit. 0x00 hex would be 11.00 and 0xFF would be 14.80. 13.21 volts would be 0x95 (149 decimal): 149/256*3.80+11.00=13.211718... Get it?

Sir
I wish I was genius like you. I did not get anything which you wrote. Are you saying that FF,1F = 13.2 volt?

No, not at all. All I'm saying is that without context, the numbers are meaningless. Somewhere buried in all the daten files are instructions to tell the device what range of binary numbers equate to a real world range like a voltage. Without knowing what parameter those numbers are associated with and how they are normalized with respect to the parameter, then there is nothing that can be said about those hex numbers you posted.
