F15 vs E70 interior improvements?

Usually with a new generation there are overall improvements and features Are there any new improvements, usually interior space is increase. Example would be the current X3 have the same interior space as the 2 generation old X5. This is in part of the wheelbase increase. I notice the new F15 did not have an increase in wheelbase. Are there any increase in interior space? I'm wondering why they didn't go this route? 3 series, 5 series all get a slight bump in interior space.

There probably is, but more in the passenger compartment and cargo area. In all fairness, the E70 definitely isn't hurting for interior space in the front...I can't see it going much bigger.

...because an X7 may be coming. If the X7 does well (and new Bentley and Maserati SUV as well), BMW Group will use the X7 platform for a Rolls Royce SUV.

If you guys haven't tried BMWAICoder, that is much easier than esys but a lot more customizable, just FYI.
