2013 335is

Hi,

I am trying to flash my father's 2013 IS and I get the following message while attempting to install:

"the ap has identified a new vehicle ROM version! Please contact technical support so we may add your ROM support. 0044coilaoslje3s"

Any ideas on how to proceed? Obviously we are eager to try over the weekend and understand Cobb is likely enjoying their Memorial weekend.

hmmm... a new ROM? you will prob need to send a ROM dump to Cobb? what's the rom number that it identifies?

This is what I see on the screen of the AP. I assume the ROM is the 0044...?

This.

Go to Cobb's web site and follow the instructions on how to dump the ROM and send it in. It will probably take a couple days due to the long weekend.

It's a little odd thought that BMW would be adding a new ROM this late in the IS production cycle... who knows thoughs...

I got your rom upload. Its a holiday weekend, but I'll be swinging by work tomorrow or Monday to do some work on my own car. I'll get you a new firmware build then. I'll send you an email.

when i flashed COBB on my 07 last year my rom came up as unknown...
