Gearbox....

Hi guys,

Recently i realised that my car is giving me some vibration. Those vibration comes only when i'm traveling btw 60-70km/h.

Those feeling is exactly like those manual car when u're on a higher gear but traveling at a lower speed. Once i downshift using the paddleshift, the vibration will be gone.

Anyone experience this? Is it normal?

Are you just talking about low rpm driving? I think it's normal. Especially in eco pro, when the revs drop to like 1100, but it's very very mild

In an 8AT in Comfort & EP modes, the mapping is such that the car's gearbox changes up to as high a gear as possible in the shortest possible time. So travelling @ 60-70km/h has the revs a little higher than 1k.

I can feel and even hear just a slight hint of engine labouring when I want to increase my speed somewhat until the turbos take over. This can cause a slight vibration of the car as the engine labours at very low revs in a very high gear.

Will be the same in all 8AT F3X cars.
