LCI Tail lights not fitting to Trunk

Hey guys,

Bought a 2010 328i trunk and 335i tail and somehow its not fitting. Spent a good amount of time trying to make this fit but it seems the tail is a bit bigger for some reason. I thought lci tails were all the same and or trunk? Or am I missing something

Thats odd... they should fit perfectly fine, can you take a picture of the space without the taillight installed, maybe there are some tabs?

Since both parts are OEM, there should be no issues. It'll obviously be a tight fit since there's no gaps. I think you may just need some more force.

Look around the forum, maybe there's a conversion DIY.

Just watch out for tabs and I think you need a little more force, don't be scared to push it. Only 110? WOW

That's why I'm asking because the size is horrifically off. Only thing I can say is he bought a e92 boot lid and wants his e90 lci tails to fit it.

Edit: Went on the ebay link it is a e90 boot lid. OP take pic of boot without tail. Is the other side fitting?

There's no other trunk for an E90 LCI.

Any possibility that the lights are for an estate?

Yeah e91 Lci is the estate/ station wagon.
Not sure on price, usually about £350 for e92/ e90. (These are more popular lights however)
